Chennai Express Box Office Collections Sees A Drop On Its 1st Tuesday

Chennai Express saw a drop on its 1st Tuesday as the film collected 11.50 crores at the domestic box office. The film despite beginning at an overwhelming pace has slowed down over the weekdays, as its Tuesday numbers minimally dropped from its Monday figures. Interestingly, the Ranbir Kapoor-Deepika Padukone starrer Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani made a 12 crores business on its 1st Tuesday.

Chennai Express has accumulated a total collections of 124.45 crores at the domestic box office.

The SRK film began its run at the box office on a record smashing spree. The audiences are loving the film’s entertainment but it might face a deterring slowdown after the release of Akshay Kumar starrer OUATIMD this Friday.
