As many as six films release this Friday – Main Aur Charles, Titli, Guddu Ki Gun, Once Upon A Time In Bihar, Love Exchange and Prithipal Singh. Out of these, only first three have seen some kind of promotion.
None of the films is expected to take any sort of opening though Main Aur Charles and Titli would see competitively better footfalls than the rest. Both are dramatic thrillers and have some credentials going for them. Former features Randeep Hooda in a title role and this is one of his better publicized solo starrers. Latter is a Dibakar Banerjee and Yash Raj film and is ready for over a year. They are adult flicks and hence their reach is further limited. Even Guddu Ki Gun is an adult entertainer from Kunal Khemmu and has hardly been promoted. Its risque subject would further restrict its audience.
As for the rest of the releases, the first struggle would be to get an all India arrival and hence would just find token shows at select multiplexes.
