In India, Awarapan 2 started its run by scoring a solid 23.4 crore on day 1, and over its lifetime run, it multiplied the opening-day collection by close to 6.7 times, which is actually below expectations considering the start it registered. As per the final collection update, it raked in 156.12 crore net at the Indian box office, which equals 184.23 crore gross.
