It’s been an amazing time for Hollywood releases in India and new horror flick, Annabelle Comes Home, is set for a ride at the ticket windows, this week. Though not as much as superhero flicks, horror genre too has created its segment of core audience in the country over the years, thus giving a chance to the third instalment of Annabelle to perform well at the box office despite stiff competition from Kabir Singh and Article 15.


Annabelle Comes Home, which released on this Thursday, accumulated approximately 3 crores on opening day. Though it is receiving mixed word-of-mouth, the movie is expected to show growth over the weekend and challenge Highest Grossing Hollywood’s horror movies in India.

The second instalment of Annabelle franchise emerged a good success in India and it earned a collection of 44.50 crores in lifetime run.

The Nun

It opened with mixed reviews in India but it hardly affected its rollicking run at the ticket windows. It earned a collection of 42 crores.

The Conjuring

It was an inaugural film in the the Conjuring franchise released way back in 2013. It earned around 23 crores in India.


Released in 2014, the movie received mostly mixed to negative reviews in India. It earned an ordinary collection of around 20 crores.
