Join Us2016 kicked off with some quite powerful films like Airlift and Neerja, which made significant collections at the box office in the first two months itself.
While April had Shah Rukh Khan’s big release, Fan, it could not manage a business as expected and hence March to April, B-town was slightly laying low.
Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor’s Baaghi managed a good business before another slump in May where most releases were flops.
With Housefull 3’s release in June, the year got itself another 100 crore film, of course, second for Akshay Kumar too this year.
