Hrithik Roshan and Salman Khan are the big guns of Bollywood. One is Greek God, and the other is Bhaijaan. The clash between actors and actresses is not typical in entertainment, and it sometimes results in name-calling and hurling insults at each other. Salman once took a jibe at Hrithik’s Guzaarish, and the latter slammed him for his ugly dig. Scroll below for more.

Salman and Hrithik worked with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, but the latter’s film had a poor box-office reception. The Tiger 3 star once took a jibe at Guzaarish’s poor performance and said some controversial things that hurt the Fighter star. Guzaarish was released in 2010, and although it was not a commercial success, it is considered one of Hrithik’s best performances. Initially, Salman and HR had good relations, but things changed after his not-so-good comments on the SLB-directed movie.

In one of his appearances on Koffee With Karan around 2011, he claimed that Salman Khan had victim syndrome. On the celebrity chat show, Karan Johar asked what he’d like to take away from Bhaijaan if he was a superhero. The Fighter star gave a very scandalous answer, “You know everyone loves him, but he feels everyone is conspiring against him, so I think there is a victim syndrome, which I will take away.”

He did not let that matter go quickly, again during the rapid-fire when KJo asked him what he would do if he woke as Salman one day. HR said he would hold a press conference to say how much he loved Hrithik Roshan.

In another interview with The Times of India, HR slammed Salman Khan for his unkind remarks. He said, “I’ve always known Salman to be a good man, someone I’ve looked up to and admired and still do. He’s always been a hero and always will be. But yes, it’s not heroic to laugh or make fun of a filmmaker just because his box office collections are not up there with yours.” Hrithik added his perception of a hero is someone who doesn’t boast and is more gracious and loving.

What did Salman Khan say about Hrithik Roshan’s Guzaarish?

The Tiger 3 hinting at the film Guzaarish said, “Arey usme toh makhi udd rahi thi, lekin koi machhar bhi nai gaya dekhne. Arey koi kutta bhi nai gaya.”

On the work front, Hrithik Roshan was last seen in Fighter. For more such throwbacks, stay tuned to Koimoi!
