Hrithik Roshan-Tiger Shroff starrer War is on a record-breaking spree ever since its release, and its entry in 300 crore club was beyond the expectations. Now, apart to the theatrical business, the movie has achieved another feat to join the league of Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero, Aamir Khan’s Thugs Of Hindostan and Prabhas’ Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.
War trailer which was released two months ago, has fetched 100 million views on YouTube. It has become 3rd Bollywood trailer to cross the mark after Zero, Thugs Of Hindostan and 4th one including Baahubali 2, if Hindi movies are considered. Apart from the views, the trailer has also 1.6 million likes. A record-breaker of all sorts!
Backed by Yash Raj Films, War is directed by Siddharth Anand.
Meanwhile, both Hrithik and Tiger are on a cloud nine due to the love the film has received since its release October 2.
Hrithik says “War” has redefined action films and action genre forever in India.
“I’m delighted that our labour of love, blood and sweat has created so many milestones during the course of its run at the box office. It is absolutely sensational that ‘War’ has entered the Rs 300 crore club but what’s truly phenomenal is that this film has redefined action films and action genre forever in India,” Hrithik said.
For Hrithik, it is the biggest victory and gratification for all who believed in the film.
“War” is now the third film produced by Yash Raj Films to cross Rs 300 crore in India after superstar Salman Khan’s “Tiger Zinda Hai” (2017) and “Sultan” (2016).
