The announcement of a film by Salman Khan is certainly nothing less than a festival in India. While fans of Bhaijaan may have missed him this Eid, it looks like the actor has bigger plans in store. The Kick actor is all set to take the Tiger franchise ahead with YRF head honcho Aditya Chopra.
If the industry rumour mill is anything to go by, it is being speculated that Salman Khan will begin shooting for Tiger 3 as early as Feb 2021. Yes, you read that right! Salman can easily be touted as an actor full of surprises when it comes to film announcements.
So staying true to his image, the actor has decided to go ahead with what seems to be one of Bollywood’s most expensive films, Tiger 3. Salman Khan will be reuniting with Katrina Kaif for the third instalment of the already successful Tiger franchise.
While there is no official word on the same, a certain source has been quoted by Bollywood Hungama saying, “Salman and Adi had a prolonged discussion last week and both of them wanted to take Tiger 3 on the floors as soon as possible. The script is said to be the most exciting in the Tiger franchise, which has made the film a priority for Salman. It will go on the floors in February 2021, for an 8-month schedule.”
The source said that Salman Khan is more than excited to take the franchise forward and will jump into it as soon as he is done filming for Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai. “The film is planned to be shot in multiple countries, which is why the shoot is spread over a period of 8 months. Salman feels that the lockdown has got him in the best shape of his career, with six-pack abs and heavy biceps, which justifies the larger than life persona of Tiger.”
Meanwhile, Salman Khan already has Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali and Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai in the pipeline for release. It was only yesterday that Sajid Nadiadwala also announced Kick 2 featuring Salman and Jacqueline Fernandez.
