The demolition of alleged unauthorised construction in Kangana Ranaut’s office has grabbed all the possible eyeballs. Ranaut’s well-wishers and even some who disagree with her remarks have condemned this particular move by the BMC. Backing the Panga actor now is India Wrestler Babita Phogat. She voiced her support for the actor and called out the ‘Award Wapsi Gang’. Read on to know what she has to say.

A quick recap, after slamming Ranaut with a notice earlier this week, BMC gave her 24 hours to reply. When the actor as per the corporation did not respond, they demolished the questionable construction in her Mumbai office situated in Pali Hills.

After many reactions, some fiery arguments, Babita Phogat has come ahead in Kangana Ranaut’s support. Phogat shared a video on Twitter in which she said, “The way the Uddhav Thackeray government demolished Kangana’s office, it is clear that they are flustered.”

Babita Phogat added, “Their disgusting mentality is being seen by the entire country. Do they think they can scare Kangana with this and silence her? If yes, then they are mistaken, because Kangana is not one to get scared. The entire country is standing with her. I want to appeal to my fellow countrymen to not let our sister’s strength and courage weaken, otherwise, in the future, no sister will have the courage to speak up.”

Further talking about what happened with Kangana Ranaut, Babita Phogat called out the ‘candle gang’ and ‘award wapsi gang’ of Bollywood. “I don’t understand one thing. So much happened in Mumbai but why is the ‘candle gang’ and award wapsi gang of Bollywood silent? Can they not see what is happening? Why are they so quiet? The entire country is witnessing the disgusting mentality of the Uddhav Thackeray government and they will soon give a befitting reply,” Phogat concluded.

For the unversed, in 2015, many actors and poets who were against the increasing communal violence in the country and the government handling it, decided to return their Sahitya Akademi Award. This was a part of a protest. It was then when they were labelled the Award Wapsi Gang.

For Kangana Ranaut, the actor inspected her demolished office yesterday and pictures went viral over the social media. On the other hand, there is also a complaint filed against her for defaming Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray in a video.
