It would not be wrong to say after the humongous success of Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh, a remake of Arjun Reddy, every actor is eyeing a remake it for themselves.
Reports are also doing rounds that an A-list actress will soon be bought onboard for Sidharth’s first-ever double role. A certain source has been quoted to Mumbai Mirror revealing details about Sidharth’s character from the film. “Sidharth plays a double role for the first time in his career, a businessman and a small-time thief and gambler always looking to make a quick buck. The film is currently in prep and the team is working towards creating two distinct looks for him,” the source quotes.
Delving into further details about the film, the source revealed, “The story has plenty of thrills which lend themselves to some interesting chase sequences, something that appealed to Sid instantly, in addition to the challenge of playing a double role.”
For the unversed, the original film, Thadam had actor Arun Vijay in a double role, playing the characters of a cop and villain. The film was written and directed by Magizh Thirumeni and produced by Inder Kumar. Also, the Official Hindi remake of Thadam will mark the directorial debut of Vardhan Khetani, who has previously worked as an Assistant Director for 2 Sidharth Malhotra films.
The Sidharth Malhotra starrer will also mark the second remake for producer Murad Khetani, who had earlier backed Shahid Kapoor mega-blockbuster, Kabir Singh.

On the professional front, Sidharth Malhotra will next be seen as Captain Vikram Batra in Karan Johar’s, Shershaah. The film is slated to release on the 3rd July 2020. He also has Indra Kumar’s next alongside Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh in the pipeline.
