While BJP and Shiv Sena seem to be confused about who the Maharastra CM should be, a Twitterati reminded netizens of Anil Kapoor character for Nayak and wrote that till the time we do not have a solution we should make Anil the CM and see what happens. He went ahead to tag Devendra Fadnavis and Aditya Thackeray and asked them to give their thoughts on the same.

Somehow the tweet reached Anil and he had a witty reply. Retweeting the tweet, the actor wrote, “मैं nayak ही टीक हूँ” which in English translates to “I am better as Nayak only.” Well, that was a fun take.

Released in 2001 Nayak stars Rani Mukerji and Amrish Puri alongside Anil. The story revolves around a journalist who takes up the challenge of running the state for a day. On the film front, Anil is gearing up for the release of his next Pagalpanti which is set to hit the screens on November 22 this year.
