Ajay Devgn who is currently occupied to the core with a very interesting and varied lineup of upcoming films. From Total Dhamaal to Tanhaji and a biopic on an Indian football manager, Syed Abdul Rahim – he has a lot coming up. Out of all these, a Luv Ranjan directorial also starring Ranbir Kapoor was reportedly shelved.
But, Ajay Devgn has confirmed himself about the status of the film. In a conversation with Mirror, he clarified all the rumours by saying, “Ranbir and I start shooting from next year as planned.” He also added that the scripting process of the film is still on. This is good news not only for Ajay and Ranbir fans but for the movie-lovers who wanted to see both these stars together.
Tracking the filmography of Luv Ranjan, one would expect an urban romantic drama with an additional twist of comedy. It surely is an unexpected trio of Ajay-Ranbir and Luv but the hype around the film is already positive. It would be interesting to see a fusion of two eras having a powerhouse of talent from both the periods.
The Raid star is gearing up for the release of his forthcoming film Total Dhamaal, which is the third film in the comedy entertainer franchise Dhamaal. The second was Double Dhamaal. It is directed by Indra Kumar.
