Since last few years, the clashes at the box office have taken an ugly turn. Now, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, which is being distributed in Hindi by Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment will clash with Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff’s War.
This ain’t the first time Hrithik Roshan and Farhan Akhtar are locking horns at the box office, who can forget the unwelcoming clash of Raees and Kaabil back in 2017. Both the movies, War and Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy are mounted on a mammoth scale and requires proper attention. In a clash, there’s a chance of eating each other’s business.
A source close to Bollywood Hungama quoted, “Aditya Chopra and Yash Raj Film had announced War for 2nd October, months ago. Suddenly Excel (Farhan and Ritesh’s company) comes up with this dubbed Hindi film. It just upsets everything.”
The Telugu film co-stars Amitabh Bachchan, Anushka Shetty, Nayanthara, Tamannaah Bhatia, Sudeep, Vijay Sethupathi and Jagapathi Babu in important roles. Chiranjeevi made the announcement about his upcoming Telugu biggie in an interview to daughter-in-law Upasana Konidela’s magazine, “B positive”.
Directed by Surender Reddy, the film will narrate the story of Kurnool-based freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. Amitabh Bachchan plays Chiranjeevi’s mentor in the film.
On the other hand, War is produced by Yash Raj Films, the high-octane film that also stars Vaani Kapoor is set to release in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on October 2.
