Here’s a look at the songs of Rocky Handsome :

Rock Tha Party – Rocky Handsome Music Review

Revamping their 2003 hit club number, Bombay Rockers presents their famed track Rock Tha Party in this album. There is a change of lyrics in this number from English to Hindi while the music more or less remains the same. In spite of being quite an old number, the song still has a great impact and will surely be a hit with the club circuits once again. The party track is highly enjoyable and will set you foot-tapping for sure.

Rehnuma – Rocky Handsome Music Review

Rehnuma is a slow paced romantic track that sounds a lot like an A. R Rahman contribution. Although the saccharine track starts beautifully with Shreya Ghoshal’s vocals, it fails to keep its emotional connect all through the song. Accompanying her, the male vocals have been given by Inder Bawra. This track may appeal at start but will not enjoy any longevity.

Alfazon Ki Tarah – Rocky Handsome Music Review

Every album these days seems to be incomplete without the Ankit Tiwari composition. The singer-composer is a prime choice for mellow songs. After a promising start with Aashiqui 2‘s Sunn Raha Hai Na Tu, Ankit seems to have become extremely repetitive with his work. Alfazon Ki Tarah too sounds pretty much like his previous works and honestly we are tired of him showing off his high pitch to low pitch hold. Alfazon Ki Tarah is strong on the lyrics front but fails musically.

Aye Khuda – Rocky Handsome Music Review

Aye Khuda comes in two versions. One being a duet with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Shreya Ghoshal. The combination of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Shreya in a song is deadly. Aye Khuda is a sad song that may appeal with its lyrics but rarely with its music. Both versions are average and hopefully the song may have more meaning in the film.

Titliyaan – Rocky Handsome Music Review

Sunidhi Chauhan’s Titliyaan is a cabaret style number. The song is peppy enough thanks to the musical arrangements but fails to make an overall impact. It comes across as one of the item numbers in the film.

The Last Word – Rocky Handsome Music Review

The soundtrack of Rocky Handsome is extremely average. Only Rock Tha Party is truly entertaining, rest are easily passable. A 2/5 for this album.
