Shah Rukh Khan – Raees
After experimenting with different kind of roles, Shah Rukh Khan did Raees to get in the skin of an anti-hero character after a long time. It’s always said, “To act like a villain, you’ve to feel like one” and SRK surely did his homework very well with Raees.
Akshay Kumar – Jolly LLB 2
Jolly LLB will always be remembered for Arshad Warsi’s sincere performance & Akshay was back to fill his shoes. Akshay not only lived up to the expectations but also added his side of wittiness in the role. Rumours also were we can see both Jollys in the third part of the franchise. We just can wish that to happen!
Varun Dhawan – Badrinath Ki Dulhania
From Humpty to Badrinath, characters were changed but the charm of Varun Dhawan remained the same. Backed by a good story, Varun did the character of a small-town guy so well in this movie. His chemistry with Alia Bhatt, yet again, was appreciated by one and all.

Ranbir Kapoor – Jagga Jasoos
A musical in which lead stammers! At present, it’s only Ranbir Kapoor who can even think to attempt something like this. At something so tough he was so effortless making everything a delightful experience.
Akshay Kumar – Toilet: Ek Prem Katha
Scoring his second nomination in the list, it’s on you to decide Akshay Kumar in Jolly LLB or in this one. Tackling a social issue yet his performance kept the audience entertained till the end.
Rajkummar Rao – Bareilly Ki Barfi
Yes, this was tough! Not for Rajkummar Rao in the list but to choose for which film he should be nominated for. Newton and Trapped being the other two, Bareilly Ki Barfi had Rajkummar in a chaotically beautiful role. Running the race to win a girl, Rao won our hearts towards the end.
