The post-Wrestlemania 36 weekend was a nightmare for WWE fans. On April 15 of this year, several wrestlers were released by the company and the cost-cutting measure amid the pandemic was said to be the reason. Rusev was one of the names on the list and owing to the potential he has, everyone was shocked by his release.
Now, the Bulgarian Brute has come up with a surprise for his former company as he has joined the forces with the rival brand, AEW. Yes, you read that right. Rusev has officially joined ‘Elite’ club under the ring name Miro. By this move of the pro-wrestler, all of his loyal fans are excited including us.
Rusev debuted as Kip Sabian’s ‘Best Man’ on last night’s episode of Dynamite. He has entered AEW with a storyline of Penelope Ford’s wedding. Proclaiming the same, Elite’s official handle posted a tweet along with a picture which had pro-wrestlers picture and quote that reads “The Best Man Miro Is #AllElite”.
