The Rock’s official entry in the DC universe is just how fans imagined. Dwayne Johnson plays Black Adam, the supervillain in Jaume Collet-Serra’s venture. After teasing fans with several looks and poster, the makers have dropped a teaser during DC FanDome.
DC FanDome had a panel of the cast of every big project that Warner Bros is handling for the coming years. From the panel of Justice League to The Suicide Squad, everyone was present. It was during the event, The Rock unleashed the first-ever teaser of his character.
The makers have shared the animated version of Black Adam teaser. The teaser starts Dwayne Johnson’s voiceover saying the lines, “Five thousand years ago, Kahndaq was a melting pot of cultures, wealth, power and magic. Yet most of us had nothing.” With this voiceover, we get to the scenes that are being described in his words.
The teaser ends on a high note with The Rock’s character saying the lines which no fan will ever forget. Our Black Adam aka Dwayne Johnson says, “I’m free. And I give you my word. No one will ever stop me again.” These lines prove he is back to avenge what was taken away from him and use all his force for the same.
Dwayne Johnson shared the teaser on his Instagram page with a lengthy caption. “This is the one that changes everything ⚡️ There’s no more chains around this neck and I’m no longer a slave.
And now you have my word.
No one will ever stop me again and the hierarchy of power in the DC UNIVERSE is about change.
Vowing to always protect and be the champion of my people.
