As per reports in Pinkvilla, this season of the show will not see Gul Khan as the producer. The first season of this Surbhi Jyoti and Karan Singh Grover starrer was produced by her production house. Clearing the air around it, Gul shared that she will not be directing or producing Qubool Hai 2.0.

“The digital platform had approached us for this big unfortunately we could not find a common ground regarding this,” revealed Gul. Well, it is surely a bummer given that the producer is known to bring her flair and creativity when it comes to giving television some iconic pairs. Meanwhile, according to the buzz, Surbhi and Karan will begin shooting for the show in the next month and are pretty pumped about it.
Qubool Hai’s sequel is said to have 12-13 episodes and will stream on Zee’s digital platform. Speaking of Qubool Hai, the show had enjoyed a re-run recently during the lockdown. It received so much love that maybe the makers decided then that they must come up with a season 2.
After the news of Qubool Hai’s return, Surbhi Jyoti had revealed that she is very nostalgic as it was her first show.
