South star Vijay Deverakonda is one of the most loved actors by the audiences. His film Arjun Reddy which was directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga became quite popular amongst the audiences. The film released on August 25, 2017 and it also got a remake in Hindi which starred Shahid Kapoor.
Amongst all the praises for Vijay, Baahubali star Prabhas is too all praises for the actor.
Prabhas, who is awaiting the release of Saaho starring Shraddha Kapoor, spoke about Arjun Reddy during the promotions. When Prabhas was asked about his views on Arjun Reddy, he said, “I like Arjun Reddy…I liked it a lot.” Well, that’s a great compliment for Vijay and the entire team.
Arjun Reddy’s Hindi remake Kabir Singh too proved to be a superhit affair for the makers. But the film received a lot of flak from the critics but the film was loved by the audiences. It made the news for showing toxic masculinity and celebrating violent love.
Vijay’s recently released Dear Comrade was bought by Karan Johar. It was then speculated that KJo has approached Vijay to debut in Bollywood with its Hindi version. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, KJo has offered 40 crores to feature in the Hindi remake. But the south actor has refused the offer. It is being said that Vijay is happy with the work he is doing in South. Even he was being considered for Kabir Singh, but he denied that too.
