Roping in Greg Powell, who is the action director of Sam Mendes’ 2012 edition of James Bond franchise, that gave tribute to 50 year of the series, is expected to shuffle work between Pistol and his much anticipated upcoming Hollywood venture Fast And Furious 6.

It is no new that Akki is an expert at stunts and prefers performing them personally. The actor is enthusiastic and thrilled to work with Powell. It is the action director’s international fame, and previous esteemed projects with flawless sequences that hopefully will work wonders for this film’s action element as well.

Though Akshay is approaching 46 now, his commendable physical fitness and daredevil heart makes him an obvious choice for such roles. Powell’s construction of Akshay’s brilliant stunts will surely make Pistol, one of Bollywood’s most delightful action films.
