Amid all the toxic workplace allegations that have been making headlines against Ellen DeGeneres and her famous The Ellen Show, there’s a new update. If reports are to go by, Ellen is all back to return to the show and will be addressing the allegations in the first episode of season 18. Below is all you need to know about the same.
The makers announced the Season 18 premiere date on Tuesday. The new season of The Ellen Show is all set to go on air on September 21. While it will be shot in the Warner Bros. Studio and will have no live audience, unlike the routine.
As per the report in The Hollywood Reporter, Ellen DeGeneres, in a statement said, “I can’t wait to get back to work and back to our studio. And, yes, we’re gonna talk about it”. Meanwhile, the new co-executive producer Stephen “tWitch” Boss will be guest hosting a few episodes in the new season.

Talking about Ellen DeGeneres‘ guest list, Tiffany Haddish will be gracing the set on the premiere episode. Following her will be Kerry Washington, Alec Baldwin and Chrissy Teigen throughout the week.
For the unversed, Ellen DeGeneres’ The Ellen Show saw some exits recently. Executive producer Ed Glavin, head writer and executive producer Kevin Leman and co-executive producer Jonathan Norman left the show amid the toxic work environment claims. A special investigation was also set by the Warner Bros studio to look into the claims.
