The pandemic has done everything wrong for everyone. The release of Christopher Nolan’s Tenet got affected. It is one of the much-awaited films of 2020. After a smashing trailer, the audience was looking forward to watching the thriller starring John David Washington.
In the trailer, we saw John’s character meddling with time. His character, who is addressed as ‘The Protagonist’ is on a mission to prevent World War 3. However, Nolan has clearly said that his upcoming movie isn’t a time travel thriller. He prefers to call it ‘Time inversion’.
Now, lead actor John David Washington has opened up about Tenet’s multiple delays. The Malcolm X actor shared how disheartened he is that such an important movie is getting postponed again and again.
The Tenet actor said, “I mean, I’m human. I put everything into this You think it’s going to happen and they keep pushing it back. That can be disheartening. But it’s like your child. You want to send it to the best school, even if you have to wait a semester.”
But the good news is Christopher Nolan’s movie has now got a final release date. In 70 countries, John David Washington starrer will hit the screens on August 26. In China, September 4 is the date moviegoers will watch this sci-fi thriller in the cinema halls.
Along with John David Washington, Tenet consists of a stellar cast. It also stars Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia and many others.
