As Joe Biden’s choice of California Senator Kamala Harris to be his running mate in the 2020 presidential election was announced, Taylor Swift was one of the several Hollywood celebrities, who showed their approval. Miss Americana has been vocal about her choice to speak up on national politics.
Earlier, she had emphatically shared her ridicule for Tennessee legislator Marsha Blackburn. The Blank Space singer also send her very first partial social media sites blog post in advance of the 2018 midterm political elections.
Taking to Rolling Stone, she said, “We need to stop dissecting why someone’s on our side or if they’re on our side in the right way or if they phrased it correctly. We need to not have the right kind of Democrat and the wrong kind of Democrat. We need to just be like, ‘You’re a Democrat? Sick. Get in the car. We’re going to the mall.”
Although Taylor hasn’t specifically recommended him to be presidential candidate, she did reveal enjoyment on August 11.
“.@JoeBiden can unify the American people because he’s spent his life fighting for us. And as president, he’ll build an America that lives up to our ideals. I’m honored to join him as our party’s nominee for Vice President, and do what it takes to make him our Commander-in-Chief,” Kamala Harris tweeted.

She had also come out in support of Black Lives Matter protest. In May 2020, the American singer-songwriter tweeted, “After stoking the fires of white supremacy and racism your entire presidency, you have the nerve to feign moral superiority before threatening violence?
