Shia LaBeouf who nailed as Boyd Swan aka Bible in Brad Pitt led Fury has been one of those actors who can go to any extent for his role. He had taken method acting to another level by his varied quirks.
While we all know how believable he looked for his role in Fury, many won’t know the true story behind the scars on his face. If you’ve to ask a layman, ‘cosmetic scars’ will be the answer you’d be expecting to get. But, that’s not the case and those were real.
Logan Lerman, who played the role of Norman in Fury back then told British GQ, “[LaBeouf] walks out into the hallway and says, ‘Hey man, wanna see something fun? Check this out…’ and he takes out a knife and cuts his face. For the whole movie, he kept opening these cuts on his face. That’s all real.”
Shia LaBeouf, himself on Jimmy Kimmel’s show made some interesting revelations regarding getting his tooth pulled. He said, “No, I got it removed for the movie. It didn’t make medical sense. So I got it done by some guy in Reseda next to a Radio Shack and he didn’t ask too many questions.”
On asking him, “The director had you fist fighting on set every day, right?” He replied, “Oh, yeah, every day. It worked. It really bonded us. You can only get so much out in a conversation [so] with a bunch of boys in that setting, fighting is really intimate. I’m not saying we [didn’t] get mad at each other, but we love each other and it dies when we leave.”
