Rapper Marlo aka Rudolph Johnson has been shot down dead in his home city Atlanta. The local police have hinted this to be a targetted attack by someone.
It’s believed that Marlo was driving along Interstate 285 highway when the attack happened on Saturday night. He was declared dead even before taken to the hospital.
Marlo’s friend Jacoby Hudson, a defense lawyer in Atlanta, said to New York Times, “It’s heartbreaking because I told Rudy it would end like this if he didn’t change the people he was around. He didn’t let the music save him. He still wanted to be in the neighborhood. He cared about people and he took care of people. He loved too many people, and his loyalty is probably what got him killed.”
Detectives are now investigating whether Marlo was shot from someone outside or inside the car. A police statement published in The Sun reads, “At this time, investigators believe the victim was the intended target of the gunfire and they are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.”
Marlo has been in the rapping scene for three years now. In his debut rap 2 The Hard Way, he had collaborated with Lil Baby On.
