Avengers: Endgame Trivia #121: It’s another day, another trivia for Marvel fans and this time we’ve some juicy information about Chris Hemsworth’s Thor: Ragnarok. Taika Waititi, kind of, broke the mould to shape up this film for MCU.
Ragnarok was a complete package of entertainment having everything in an appropriate amount. It didn’t just include the super-heroism Marvel movies are known, but also had some great humour which isn’t usually an ingredient missing from such films.
The most memorable dialogue of the film has to be when Chris Hemsworth sees Hulk just before their mega-fight and says, “He’s a friend from work!” It was a laughter-infusing moment and also was highlighted well. But do you know the history behind this scene? Let’s take you to through it.
According to a trivia published on Facts.Net, “The line originated from a child from the Make A Wish Foundation who had suggested it to Chris Hemsworth during a break between filming. Since the director, Taika Waititi encouraged its actors to improvise lines during filming, Hemsworth gave it a try.”
It also adds, “As a result, the line became one of the best Marvel lines in history. Social media blew up during the release of the official Thor: Ragnarok trailer and it was all thanks to one child.”
