Even while Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani are yet to officially announce their next collaboration, a lot is already being speculated around this much awaited film. The actor was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s 2018 romantic comedy drama, Zero, and since then fans have been waiting to see their favourite superstar on the big screen again.
A few months ago, there were reports that Shah Rukh Khan is also in talks with South director Atlee Kumar and filmmaker duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K for their respective projects. However, it seems SRK has first green lit Hirani’s next.
They were supposed to start shooting from this year, but, owing to the pandemic the plan had to be postponed. Koimoi now has some further details on the shooting plan. Sources close to the project inform that the shoot will take place in the first half of 2021.
“Besides Canada and Punjab, the film will be shot in three other international places. Rajkumar Hirani will leave for a recce in January after he decides on the remaining locations that he plans to feature in the film. He is presently neck deep in the pre-production, and will start shooting for the film by March end or the first week of April,” informs the source.
In Canada, Toronto will be one of the important locations for the film. “Both Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani are extremely excited about the project,” adds the informer.
Reportedly, Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani were earlier supposed to work together on Munna Bhai M.B.B.S., however the collaboration hadn’t materialised back then.
