It’s been a gloomy weekend at the box office with dismal collections for the two big releases on Friday (15th October, 2010). Ajay Devgan’s Aakrosh had a poor collection of Rs. 7.5 crore over the weekend while Knock Out failed to take off with just Rs. 2.5 crore.
While ‘Aakrosh’ managed to rake in Rs. 2.5 crore on Friday, Sanjay Dutt and Irrfan Khan starrer, ‘Knock Out’ shut shop on Friday at a meagre Rs. 90 lakh. Considering that the makers of ‘Aakrosh’ had to push their movie by one week because of the censors, and the producers of ‘Knock Out’ had to shell out Rs. 1.5 crore to get their movie released, this is indeed very bad news.
