War Box Office: Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff & Vaani Kapoor’s War is heating up before it releases on Gandhi Jayanti. The film is super hot at this moment and the way tickets are getting sold already is proof.
The advance booking of War started a few days back but it’s only now that it has come in full flow. The audience had almost starved for a genuine big-budget action extravaganza and now they are leaving no stone unturned to witness it on the big screens on Oct 2.
Let’s have a look at how the major cities of the country are performing as far as the advance booking so far is concerned:
Mumbai has finally started showing its power. Despite having a huge number of screens, there are about 10-15% shows of them getting filling fast and houseful already.
Even in 4DX and MX4D, there’s a very good response.
There are still two days remaining including today and we can surely expect more bookings before the film’s actual release on Wednesday.
Delhi is terrific and breathing fire. The national capital is recording 45-50% houseful and filling fast shows already. With two days still remaining for release, the audience is going to find tough time booking tickets here.
4DX format is receiving a huge response as there are 90-95% shows going houseful or filling fast.
Bengaluru is also excellent with 50% Hindi 2D shows going houseful and filling fast. 4DX is also receiving an excellent response with 65% of the total shows receiving heavy footfalls.
All this is happening despite competition from big regional film Sye Raa Narsimha Reddy.
Hyderabad is also roaring with terrific sales. Almost 85% of the total number of shows are already sold out or are getting sold out soon.
Ahmedabad is still weak when it comes to Hindi 2D format. There are less than 5% of the shows which are being sold out. However, 4DX is receiving an excellent response with 80% of the shows getting filled already.
Chandigarh is better with 15% of the total number of shows getting filled already. 4DX is also great with 80% shows getting full.
Chennai has again proved that War is a film for pan India audience. 50% of the Hindi 2D shows are going houseful and 15% of Tamil 2D as well.
Kolkata is performing exceedingly well with 45-50% of the total shows as of now getting a high number of footfalls. The ‘War’ of tickets will get even more intense now.
Overall, a huge opening for War is on cards now and it’s time for the team and makers to sit down and enjoy the results of their hard work.
