Shockingly, the film has been fetching underwhelming collections in the home state of Tamil Nadu, but thanks to strong support in the Telugu market, it comfortably crossed the 100 crore mark in net collections at the Indian box office. In the Telugu states, it is already the 5th highest-grossing Kollywood film and will soon reach the 60-crore mark in gross collections.

For those who don’t know, it had a breakeven target of around 40 crore gross. So if a comparison is made, the film has earned a profit of 18.55 crore. With Toxic facing an outright rejection, the Suriya starrer has got some boost and is likely to fetch good numbers in the coming days.

It’s now Kollywood’s 5th highest-grosser in the Telugu states

With 58.55 crore gross, Vishwanath And Sons is now the 5th highest-grossing Kollywood film in the Telugu states. Very soon, it’ll hit the 60 crore mark, becoming the 5th Kollywood film to do so. In the coming days, it is likely to overtake Enthiran (67 crore) to claim the 4th spot. It is also expected to beat Coolie (69.83 crore) to claim the 3rd spot.
