Yash-led Toxic had an underwhelming run during its extended opening week. After a flying start, it couldn’t maintain the momentum, thus dwindling at the worldwide box office. Given the scale and the fact that the Rocking Starrer returned after three years, the magnum opus should ideally have scored 500 crore or more in its first week, but it stayed well below that mark. How much did Toxic earn at the worldwide box office in 9 days?

The period gangster action thriller grossed 5.02 crore in India on its second Thursday, while internationally, it grossed 1 crore. Overall, it grossed 6.02 crore on day 9, displaying a drop of 18.98% from day 8’s 7.43 crore. In total, the film has grossed 277.37 crore in India and 38.5 crore overseas. Combining both, the 9-day worldwide box office collection is 315.87 crore gross (all languages).

With 315.87 crore, Toxic has surpassed the lifetime collection of Suriya’s Karuppu (315 crore) to become the 5th highest-grossing Indian film of 2026 globally. In the coming days, it is expected to beat Thalapathy Vijay’s Jana Nayagan (327.2 crore) to claim the 4th spot.
