This week saw the slowdown of hit movie Tiger Zinda Hai after the release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Padmaavat, which released last week. Till then it was a clear coast for Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger Zinda Hai. 5 weeks since Tiger Zinda Hai’s release have proved to be very profitable for the film, where it earned immensely at the box office. The film earned double the budget of the film which was 150 crores.
The box office collection of Tiger Zinda Hai stands at 338 crores till date. If observed the weekend collection of this week was much better than that of the weekdays, where the collection almost stood to a standstill. Tiger Zinda Hai is Ali Abbas Zafar’s second movie after Sultan to enter in the 300 crore club. This does not get over yet, Tiger Zinda Hai has many more records to its name.
Backed by Yash Raj Films (YRF), the film is a sequel to the Kabir Khan-directed Ek Tha Tiger and marks the return of Salman and Katrina together on-screen after five years.
