The Sabarmati Report Box Office Update! (Photo Credit – Facebook)

The Sabarmati Report has unfortunately dropped below the one-crore mark at the Indian box office. Vikrant Massey, Riddhi Dogra, and Raashii Khanna’s film began on a good note. But the pace eventually slowed down. The journey towards success almost looks impossible now as the second week has been lower than the first seven days. Scroll below for the latest update!

Day 14 at the Indian Box Office

On the second Thursday, Dheeraj Sarna’s directorial earned 0.90 crores. It has witnessed a 10% decrease from 1 crore minted on day 13. The total earnings made in the second week comes to 11.36 crores. While the graph should have witnessed an upward trend, the political action drama witnessed a fall of 6% in Week 2.

Take a look at the box office breakdown of The Sabarmati Report below:

  • Week 1: 12.16 crores
  • Week 2: 11.36 crores
  • Total: 23.52 crores

12th Fail vs The Sabarmati Report Week 2

It remains unfortunate that Vikrant Massey’s latest release could not replicate the journey of his last massive success, 12th Fail. It had garnered 27.11 crores in two weeks and remained way above the one-crore mark.

In comparison, The Sabarmati Report is lagging behind by a considerable 3.59 crores. Another major difference is that 12th Fail had garnered 1.50 crores on the second Thursday and was gearing up for a bigger third weekend. But that is unfortunately not the case here!

Budget Recovery

The 2024 political drama is mounted on a decent budget of 50 crores. This means that 50% of the estimated cost has yet to be recovered. The momentum should have been much better, given there had been no major release even last week. Pushpa 2 will steal maximum screens on December 5, which means there are not many days left before the storm hits.
