The film is just a few lakhs away from the milestone and there is a great likelihood of the feat being accomplished today itself, if not by tomorrow morning. The film has collected around 299.9 crore already, and now it is mere formality before the official statement is out.
With this, the film has set records for all involved with the film.
For Salman Khan, this is his second 300 crore entry and the film features amongst his biggest grossers ever:
Bajrangi Bhaijaan – 320.34 crore
Sultan – 300 crore* (still running)
Kick – 233 crore
Prem Ratan Dhan Payo – 207.40 crore
Ek Tha Tiger – 198 crore
For Anushka Sharma too, this is her second 300 crore entry and the film features amongst her biggest grossers ever:
PK – 339.5 crore

Jab Tak Hai Jaan – 120.65 crore
For Yash Raj Films, this is yet another huge biggie that they have managed to add to their repertoire:

For Ali Abbas Zafar, this is a clear entry into the big league as he is only the third director to cross the 300 crore mark:

With three films managing to go past the 300 crore mark within 20 months, the stage is set for many more biggies to enter the club. Next in line is Aamir Khan’s Dangal, which would be followed by Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees and then Salman Khan’s own Tubelight. Will the troika of Khans strike? Well, the answer would be known in exactly a year from now!
