Shamitabh: 1st Tuesday Box Office Collections

Shamitabh held up decently over its fifth day. The film collected 1.40 crores at the domestic box office. It now stands with a total collection of 16.25 crores at the domestic box office. The R Balki film was garnered with mixed reviews and being meant for a niche audience, the film could not turn out to be a crowd puller.

Starring Amitabh Bachchan and Dhanush in lead roles, Shamitabh seems to be faring only because of both the stars, who have a huge audience appeal. The film is expected to have an average first week with a collection of over 20 crores.
