Saaho Box Office Day 4 (Hindi): Prabhas Starrer Holds Well On Monday!

Saaho (Hindi) held well on Monday as 14.20 crores came in. Friday collections were 24.40 crores so Monday is looking good as the fall is less than 50%. Yes, given the fact that there was partial holiday of Ganesh Chathurthi and the film had grown quite well on Sunday, it had seemed that the hold would be in 15-16 crores range. Still, what Saaho (Hindi) has collected on Monday is also no mean feat and especially if one considers the fact that it was said to be a goner after the first few shows.

The real test would begin from today onwards and if the collections stay on to be in double digits then it would be a very good result for the Prabhas, Shraddha Kapoor and Neil Nitin Mukesh starrer. That would pretty much convey the message loud and clear that audiences have lapped on to the action thriller and it wasn’t just about the opening weekend footfalls.

One has to give very good credit to the entire marketing campaign that was planned around the film which has contributed in a major way to the four day collections so far. Yes, the content could eventually emerge as a winner but the fact that a film from South with a leading man from Telugu cinema has got such a pan-India reception from Day One of release is a big deal indeed.

The film has collected 93.28 crores so far and would enter the 100 Crore Club today. From here, even regular falls would ensure that Saaho (Hindi) reaches 150 crores at the least and in turn emerge as a hit.
