Padmaavat is continuing to keep the heat on in its fourth week as well. With Aiyaary not quite seeing a rocking opening and PadMan moving at its own pace, Padmaavat stays on to be a major choice for the audience till date. This was reflected yet again over the weekend as moolah continued to come in.

The film has now gone past the 276.50 crore mark and that is an excellent feat for the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directed affair. It is a dream run indeed for the film which at one point in time seemed like stuck for good.

Nonetheless, audience footfalls are continuing to find good momentum and looks like rest of the weekdays would bring in fair moolah as well, especially considering the fact that the screens have reduced a lot.

It would now be interesting to see how Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor fare with their next release. In fact, Shahid would see a release first as his Batti Gul Meter Chalu will release next.

After that, it would be Deepika Padukone’s film with Irrfan Khan and Vishal Bhardwaj. Then there is Ranveer Singh’s Simmba that is set to be the last release of 2018.

Meanwhile, one waits to see what does Sanjay Leela Bhansali announce next. Will be it a period drama or a historical again? Let’s wait and watch.
