After a passable weekend at the box office, Hunterrr managed to slide along a little with collections on the lower side. After surviving its weekend on a decent note, the film had to continue with similar collections right through the week. However, it didn’t really pan out that way as a result of which even though collections continued to trickle along, the overall moolah gained wasn’t very impressive. Eventually, just under 8 crore* came in for the film which means it would have to score well in the second week as well to hold any chance.
Meanwhile, NH10 continued to find audience in the second week as well, hence resulting in 8 crore* coming in. With this, the film now has 28 crore in its kitty which would help its producers make some profit. In the times when even breakeven collections are being celebrated, a film to get into a green zone is an exception and NH10 joins the only other three films (Baby, Badlapur, Dum Laga Ke Haisha) this year that have managed this feat.
Dillwalli Zaalim Girlfriend was another new release of the week but it couldn’t make much of headway. The comic-thriller also suffered from poor release, especially in Mumbai, and even though up North it still had decent collections at centers, the final numbers read around 2.5 crore* at the end of first week.
* Final numbers awaited
Note: All collections as per production and distributor sources
