Malang Box Office: Mohit Suri directorial Malang picked up quite well on its day 2 after a fair opening. Featuring Aditya Roy Kapur, Disha Patani, Anil Kapoor and Kunal Kemmu in prominent roles, the film has been successful so far in garnering positive word-of-mouth and its reflection is expected to be translated in advance bookings of a ‘big’ Sunday.
Let’s take a look at the major centres of the country to know how Malang is faring today in advance ticket sale:
Mumbai has finally picked up with premium multiplexes fetching major footfalls. Compared to the first two days’ negligible response, Sunday has gathered some pace with around 10% shows with full to almost full occupancy.
The capital and the surrounding region are dull even on Sunday and single screens’ response is worse. As of now, around 5% of shows are filling fast.
Bengaluru is just about fair with 12-15% shows getting packed at a quick pace. Evening shows remain to be favourite.
Hyderabad is good and probably the best performing circuit for Malang with around 25% shows filling fast.
Pune, Kolkata and Chennai
Pune is below average but still better than yesterday. As of now, around 5-7% shows are full to almost full in advance ticket sale.
Kolkata is dull with just a few shows filling at a quick pace.
Chennai is impressive with around 35% shows filling fast.
