Lootera : 1st Saturday Box Office Collections

Vikramaditya Motwane’s Lootera is being hailed as a masterpiece by all and sundry. The positive reviews enthralling everybody and with that the film’s collections saw a raise of 22% since its opening day collections. On its 2nd day, the film fared well, especially in the multiplexes and raked up an income of 5.50 crores at the domestic box office. With this, the total box office collections of Lootera stand at 10 crores.

Extremely subtle and beautiful, the film is mainly directed to the intelligentsia who can appreciate the soul of  O.Henry’s The Last Leaf in Motwane’s work. With strong performances from both Sonakshi Sinha and Ranveer Singh, one can expect the positive word of mouth to help hike its collections today. The film’s total collections on its opening weekend can rise up to 15 crores if the set predictions come true.
