How much did Hanuman Ansh (Telugu) earn at the Indian box office?
The Bollywood devotional drama started its run on a decent note. In the opening weekend, it amassed 3.1 crore. It was expected to mint good numbers in the long run, but since reviews and word-of-mouth among Telugu audiences were average to below-average, the film failed to make much of an impact. Also, Jailer 2 and Ranabaali impacted its showcasing. Eventually, it wrapped up its run at 5.89 crore net at the Indian box office, which equals 6.95 crore gross.
Hanuman Ansh vs Mahavatar Narsimha
Since Mahavatar Narsimha was also a devotional drama that turned out to be a big success in Telugu, box-office enthusiasts were expecting Hanuman Ansh to perform well. Interestingly, the latter opened at 60 lakh, double the 30 lakh opening of Mahavatar Narsimha. However, the word-of-mouth for Mahavatar Narsimha was strong, leading to a terrific 12-week run and a lifetime collection of 49.32 crore net.
