Akshay Kumar starrer Gabbar Is Back managed to keep up a good stride at the Box Office, despite having its 3rd week run. On its 3rd Friday it collected 70 lacs, on 3rd Saturday 90 lacs and 3rd Sunday 1.15 cr, taking its total 82.40 crores at the Box Office.

​Being made on a budget of approx 72 crores, the film has already recovered its investments and is in its profit earning zone.

The movie fared best in the mass belts. However, the urban circuits’ business was affected mainly due to Piku, which released a week later after Gabbar Is Back. The movie is currently, the 2nd Highest Grosser of 2015.
