Fitoor starring Aditya Roy Kapur and Katrina Kaif in lead roles started off on a low note. The film took one of the lowest openings for a Katrina Kaif film. On its second day, the film showed a slight growth.

According to early estimates, the film collected 4 crore* on Saturday.  It now stands with a total of approximately 7.61 crores Compared to the other release, Sanam Re, this film is still lower. Fitoor coming from a nice genre the film is performing decently only at the multiplexes and mainly metros.

With Fitoor receiving average reviews from the critics, the film’s word of mouth too is not favorable overall. Considering the film was made on a high-budget, it seems recovering the costs will be impossible, looking at its performance in the first two days itself.
