Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon have truly spread their magic all across. We’re talking about their heist comedy, Crew, which was released in theatres on March 29, 2024. The opening weekend has minted massive moolah both in India and worldwide markets. But the box office collections were not enough to surpass Hrithik Roshan starrer Fighter. In the overseas market, Crew made a smashing start. The film made a total box office collection of $1.7 million, almost 6% higher than Fighter ($1.10 million). The leading markets were Australia, North America, and New Zealand.

Crew Opening Opening Weekend (Overseas)

As per Nishit Shaw, North America has massively contributed to Crew collections in international circuits. A total of $1.55 million was added from the US and Canada alone. Australia (A$475K), New Zealand (NZ$136K), UK (£215K), Germany (€20.1K) and Malaysia (RM45K) were other key markets.

Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon starrer has turned out to be a massive surprise worldwide. As previously reported, Crew is also the second Bollywood film of 2024 to have achieved the $1 million mark at the overseas box office.

Crew vs Fighter Opening Weekend

On the other hand, Fighter had added $4.08 million from the North American box office. Hrithik Roshan starrer was released on a Thursday, and despite that, the collections were 163% higher.

Australia (A$1.23 million), New Zealand (NZ$323K), United Kingdom (£600K), Germany (€90K), and Malaysia (RM300K) were top circuits.

Clearly, Fighter is the undisputed winner with a considerable gap.

Worldwide Box Office

In the first three days, 62.53 crores gross has been grossed at the worldwide box office. This includes 38.38 crores gross from India and the remaining 24.15 crores gross from the overseas markets.

Crew also stars comedian Kapil Sharma and Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh in pivotal roles. Rajesh Sharma and Saswata Chatterjee are seen in supporting roles.

Ekta Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and Digvijay Purohit have joined hands to produce the film under their banners, Balaji Motion Pictures and Anil Kapoor Films & Communication Network.
