Marvel Studios’ Black Panther rules at the box office, adding yet another feather to Marvel’s glorious hat. Amidst the Bollywood dominance, the movie has opened to good numbers at the Indian box office.

One of the most talked about Hollywood ventures Black Panther has proved to be a money spinner at the India box office. The superhero film is based on Marvel Comics character and has set the cash registers ringing.

The movie stands with a total of 38.10 crores. It has got mixed reviews and it looks like the movie will do great business at the box office. Well, despite the new release of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Black Panther has been affected but still shown an upward graph at the box office.

The story in the film shows how Black Panther T’Challa returns home asking of Wakanda but finds his sovereignty challenged by a long-time adversary, in a conflict with global consequences.

Considering how Marvel Studios movies have fared at Indian box office, it wasn’t surprising to see Black Panther turning into a success too. It remains to be seen whether the film can survive its second week, which poses the biggest test for any film.

It features Lupita Nyong’o, Michael B. Jordan, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker and Andy Serki.

Distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is the 18th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
