Batla House Box Office Day 4 Morning Occupancy: John Abraham & Mrunal Thakur starrer Batla House is enjoying a steady run at the box office. Despite facing a clash with dear friend Akshay Kumar’s Mission Mangal, the John starrer has managed to do well for itself.
Based on a true event, Batla House is being appreciated by one and all. The positive word of mouth has helped the film to grab the attention of audiences. The film currently stands at the grand total of 35.29 crores. Though the film saw a drop on its day 2, but it picked up on day 3.
Talking about the morning occupancy, Batla House is enjoying 35-40% on day 4. The film is gaining momentum and going by this, the evening shows might just do well. One will have to wait and see how it fares in its 4 day extended weekend.
According to Nikkhil Advani, although the film released on August 15, they could not open in around 100 centres and that has affected a day’s collection.
“Missing out on the business of a holiday is definitely a chunk of money but we will hopefully cover it over the weekend. We could have got a better opening but there is no point of complaining. Word-of-mouth reactions are helping us now.”
Added John: “We had an opening-day target of Rs 18 crore but we managed Rs 14.59 crore rupees. It is not a bad number, but we had a bigger target. However, a story likes this is worth telling and people should experience the film.”
