Avengers: Endgame Encore Becomes Biggest Hollywood Re-release In India
The latest Marvel re-release has now become the highest-grossing Hollywood re-release in India. For this milestone, the film has surpassed Christopher Nolan‘s Interstellar, which earned 24.6 crore in India in 2025. The film had a limited re-release in India on IMAX screens.
Avengers: Endgame Encore earned 2.35 crore net in India on its first Monday. The film has been released on over 3500 screens. The film’s net total after 4 days stands at 24.8 crore net in India. It has already become the highest-grossing Hollywood re-release, leaving behind Interstellar.

According to Box Office Mojo, Marvel Studios’ Avengers Endgame: Encore collected an estimated $86 million in its opening weekend worldwide. The film has claimed the No. 1 spot at the global box office, recording the second-highest worldwide opening for a theatrical re-release, with $26 million in North America and $60 million internationally.
India emerged as the fifth-largest market worldwide for Avengers Endgame: Encore, contributing an estimated $2.8 million (approx 25 crore) in opening weekend collections. India ranked behind the United States of America ($26 million), China ($13.5 million), the United Kingdom ($5.4 million), and Mexico ($4.3 million).
Marvel Studios’ Avengers Endgame: Encore is successfully playing in cinemas across India in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The film is also available on IMAX, and Marvel Studios Presents Infinity Vision, a new certification for Premium Large Format (PLF) screens, offering fans an immersive way to experience the epic adventure. The special presentation includes additional scenes that connect to Avengers: Doomsday, which arrives in cinemas on 18 December 2026.
