Akshay Kumar, Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor’s PadMan remains steady at the box office. The film is earning good moolah’s everyday despite tough competition from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat and Neeraj Pandey’s Aiyaary, not only Bollywood films the film is also locking horns with Hollywood bigge Black Panther.

The film collected a total of 62.87 crore in wseek 1 and 13.78 crore on week 2 at the box office. PadMan in its week 2 collected 2.10 crore on Friday, 3.15 crore on Saturday, 3.78 crore on Sunday, 1.50 crore on Monday, 1.25 crore on Tuesday, Wed 1 crore on Wednesday, 1 crore on Thursday. The film has collected 77.15 crores* in India.

Akshay Kumar’s film has already become the first profitable film of 2018. It is made on a budget of 37 crores. PadMan is based on the real-life incident of Arunachalam Muruganantham,the man whose initiative was to invent low-cost sanitary pad making machines in rural India helped not only his wife but other women in his village to lead a hygienic life.

Currently, Akshay Kumar is busy shooting for Kesari which is based on the battle of Saragarhi. The actor has many films in his kitty. The actor has recently finished shooting for Gold which is set to release on Independence Day. The film also stars Mouni Roy.
