Despite working with the A-lister hotties of the industry namely, Varun Dhawan, Ranbir Kapoor and the smoldering Shahid Kapoor, it’s quite a surprise that the actress has never allowed link up stories about her go afloat. In an interview with Koimoi, we asked Ileana about the same and she replied saying, “I might get into too much trouble for saying this but there is no smoke without fire.”
She continued about her Main Tera Hero co-star saying, “Varun is my college buddy. Right from beginning we gelled very well with each other and can talk about anything and everything but he isn’t my kinda guy.”
About Shahid and Ranbir, Ileana elucidated saying, “There was very little scope of conversation with Ranbir when we were shooting for Barfi. He is extremely sweet though. But we hardly ever talked. Shahid and me had most of our scenes with Padmini ji in the film and even there, the conversational bit was on low quotient. Working with Varun was different. We all had a ball together.”
So of all her co-stars so far, who comes the closest to her idea of an ideal man and she contradictorily defends herself with, “Of course Varun. It is this warm friendship we share, where we can talk about anything under the sun uninhibitedly.”
Her guy or not in real life, Varun Dhawan is definitely her guy in the film. Directed by David Dhawan, Main Tera Hero is a potboiler that will remind you of the 90s’ era of Govinda-ish films and yet it is contemporary enough to get eyeballs grabbing. The film is slated to release on 4th April.
