Hollywood star Tom Cruise has thanked his Indian fans for their birthday wishes. The superstar, who recently turned 48, used the popular micro-blogging website, Twitter to communicate with Indians. “A huge THANK YOU to the wonderful people of India for their birthday wishes and kindness…I’ll ‘see’ you at the movies Friday,” said Tom.

The film Tom was referring to in his tweet is this Friday’s (July 9) release, the sexy action-comedy Knight & Day (India release July 9). Tom Cruise is a covert agent sent on a mission he was never meant to complete, and Cameron Diaz is a woman caught between the agent and those he claims set him up. As their globetrotting adventure erupts into a maze of double-crosses, close escapes and false identities, they come to realize that all they can count on is each other.
